Sooo Cute!!!

What a lovely early Christmas gift. It seems my boy finally got his Christmas loot! ...and just in time for the holidays! He's gotten so big and looks sooo cute grabbing on to that huge fisherprice cell phone....."call mommy sweetie!!!" :o)

Today is exactly 9 months since receiving our referral... and all I can say is I just want him home: to hug, to kiss, to never let go. My "grown up" Christmas Wish? That the first EP batch is submitted on January 2nd, and that we're at least included somewhere in the first 3 batches.

Update 1: [March 2011] We have been blessed with the referral of a perfect beautiful baby boy!

Update 2: [Jan. 2012] The International Adoption process is not at all what we expected - the delays have been ongoing, unexplained, and quite frankly, torture. But we have been told time and time again that once we finally hold our son in our arms it will all be worth it. ...We truly hope so.

Update 3: [May 2012] Two weeks ago, after almost 14 months of waiting since or referral, we got to hold our beautiful baby boy in our arms. Was the wait hard? Oh yes! Was it painful, even heartbreaking at times? Yes! But... was it worth it? Would we do it again? TOTALLY!!!

Update 4: [Dec. 2012] Introducing the Toi 2 - STAR BRIGHT FOUNDATION: a state and federally recognized not-for-profit organization focused solely on raising funds to assist families in process of adopting (domestically or internationally), and funding vocational programs geared at educating fostered / orphaned children who will soon age out of the system.
