The Adoption Diet?

 
Wow, I've been so caught up in the excitement of seeing my beautiful baby boy that I think I forgot to schedule a few meals... and I've gone and lost 10 lbs!   What???  
  
LOLOLOL....   The adoption diet???    No exercise required.    :o)
   
Okay, okay, I know I'm laughing but it's not really funny, because missing those meals and losing that weight so quickly may have compromised my immune system, and now I have to deal with a small cold... uh oh. (Aahhhhchooo!)

All right...enough day dreaming....time to get back on track.  There is still lots and lots to be done before we can bring our boy home to his family.

In the middle of a very busy work day my darling social working tried and tried and tried again to track me down. After about 3 hours and several missed calls and emails, I finally was free enough to notice my phone ringing in my bag... didn't recognize the number and almost didn't answer (!!!!!), but I did....

My Goodness! When I say we were NOT expecting this call for a few weeks I am not kidding. Only the night before did Tony and I sit in our den discussing our referral probably not coming until early April (at best).

GOD IS SOOOO GOOD! Woke up a family of 2... going to bed a family of 3!


And he is soooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!



We will post more once we receive permission from our agency... stay tuned, we've only just begun!

Soooo...

Soooooo.... Today I got a call from a friend (another pre-adoptive parent) who is about 2 to 3 weeks ahead of us in the adoption process, and they just got their referral call.

OMG!!! Do you know what this means?????
 
Tony and I may be only a few weeks away from our referral. We may be just a few weeks away from seeing our baby boy! I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!
