In the middle of a very busy work day my darling social working tried and tried and tried again to track me down. After about 3 hours and several missed calls and emails, I finally was free enough to notice my phone ringing in my bag... didn't recognize the number and almost didn't answer (!!!!!), but I did....

My Goodness! When I say we were NOT expecting this call for a few weeks I am not kidding. Only the night before did Tony and I sit in our den discussing our referral probably not coming until early April (at best).

GOD IS SOOOO GOOD! Woke up a family of 2... going to bed a family of 3!


And he is soooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!



We will post more once we receive permission from our agency... stay tuned, we've only just begun!

Soooo...

Soooooo.... Today I got a call from a friend (another pre-adoptive parent) who is about 2 to 3 weeks ahead of us in the adoption process, and they just got their referral call.

OMG!!! Do you know what this means?????
 
Tony and I may be only a few weeks away from our referral. We may be just a few weeks away from seeing our baby boy! I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!

What's wrong with me?

I swear I don't know what's wrong with me.... but I just haven't been able to get my thoughts together to post on my blog since becoming HSTK. I am so anxious about this referral that I am trying to fill my days with work and not think too much about how long the wait will be.... BUT ITS NOT WORKING!!!   LOL


*sigh*


I do enjoy reading about new travel calls and referrals though. Seeing those posts (especially with new pics) actually do make me feel a bit better.   I guess its cause they show the promise of what's to come...   :-)

Hi and Happy New Year from the twin islands of Trinidad & Tobago!!!   I know I'm a few days late, but our vacation has been so awesome: warm, sunny, restful and fun that I've been a little distracted;  and I absolutely do not want to be back in the cold and snow just yet.  Thank goodness we've got another couple of days.   :o)
